here's whats on my bday/xmas list thus far (just fyi...in case anyone's feeling generous):
- a breadmaker
- an ice cream maker
- a mini deep fryer

i've already gotten myself my gift.......jamaica in 11 days!

this song has been playing on my blip playlist for weeks, and now the video will be too.

beyonce is admittedly one of my girlcrushes. i have mixed feelings about lady gaga...i love her when i don't have to look at her, but they did a really good makeup job on her (nose) in the vid.

yvette and i have booked our jamaica trip (yayayyayayyyyy!!!!) so all i've been doing is going to the gym in preparation! i've been monday, did a double on tues, today and i still have sat and sunday to go. do you think if i keep this up i'll be jamaica ready by dec?? i have my doubts, but i will try.

anyway, in just under 2 months, we'll be here!






some other stuff....

this has been my dinner 3 times this week. it's baked tilapia in a foil packet with asparagus, baby carrots and onions with a little tiny bit of butter and garlic. healthy!

this girl's huge fake boobs are ridiculous! just looking at them makes my chest hurt. i don't know her personally (she's a friend of a friend), but honestly....don't they look like they hurt????

thankful....

quickly.... thanksgiving has come and gone and this is what i'm thankful for this year....

my girls...the ones who i've yet to (and hopefully won't ever) have drama with. 2 of them are leaving me this week, but i got to see both of them this weekend.



lotsa food and randomosity. so fun. yes, i know they will be back, but not having them to talk to for 1-2 months will be a little boring!

but at least i'll still have:

my vacay partner! who always keeps things interesting...2 months to goooooooooooo! yay!!!!!!!!!!!
(sidenote: i have 2 months to get beach-ready. can it be done? i'm thinking no, but i will still try!)

of course, i'm the most thankful for:

this face. the best decision i've ever made in my entire life and the best $400 ever spent was on this little guy.

i'm thankful for cuppies and the joy they bring me.

kinda glad i was given them when i was, because if i had gotten them this week (start of the new regime), i may have had to share them! :P

and of course, i'm super thankful for...

my crazy, dog-obsessed family.

on the weekend, it was my grandma's 77th bday. we threw a surprise party at my parents' house, but my fam is the absolute worst at keeping their mouths shut, at being on time and at being inconspicuous, so it wasn't the best surprise ever. no matter! fun times nonetheless.

then i guess we were bored, so we made my grandmother sit in a chair and took pics with her! lol.

in the buff....pt 2!

today, yvette and i made what seems to be our annual trip to buffalo in search of shoes and cheesecake. last year's trip was quite fruitful. this year's trip....not so much, but we still managed to spend some $$$. whether or not we needed to or should have is another story.

i came back with some of the most random stuff: a comforter and sheet set, a pair of bcbg patent peeptoe pumps (to finally replace the pair that i wear every day to work), a skirt, leggings and halloween costume for my boy (it's a secret!). yvette made it back with some good stuff as well, but we both did not get what we were in search of (new boots).

we did, however, discover that we apparently look alike. both the customs officer and some random guy in the parking lot asked if we were. i'm convinced that they just don't have asian ppl in the buff.

and we tried new food at the cheesecake factory and weren't completely disappointed. in fact, we loved the stuffed garlic rolls (garlic bread filled with Fontina Cheese and Covered with Garlic Oil and Parmesan) and our cheesecakes (cookie dough for her, red velvet for me!).

but all of the cheesecake went into my belly. :P

2 things....

i finally figured out how to program my rogers remote control so that i turns my tv on and off. i know, this is not new, nor is it hard to do, but i couldn't do it for the longest time and i finally did yesterday!

also, i bought a water filter thingy yesterday. and i know, there is nothing really wrong with tap water, and i don't even really drink water (even tho i should), so i don't know what made me buy one. but i did.

oh, and heroes returns tonight!!!!!!!! woohoo.

that was 3 things. oh well.

and my parents come back from asia tomorrow.
